Corktown? Like a town made of cork? What?
No, my friend. The fabled Corktown district, after which this magnificent fedora was named, is a true-blue, bona fide testament of grit, elbow grease and stick-to-itiveness. As the longest-standing neighborhood in Detroit, Corktown has seen booms, busts, bootlegging, bribery — actually, we probably got carried away with the alliteration. We'll leave it at that.
Like the storied locale, the Corktown will endure. Place it on your head and just try to give up. We dare you.
In fact, we do NOT recommend the Corktown if you're trying to quit any of the following activities:
Smoking
Espionage for a foreign government
Huffing paint
Biting your nails
Hanging around lame people like that guy Ryan who is always complaining
Judge Judy marathons
Putting off doing that thing
We definitely think you should quit those things. You should just pick a different hat while trying to do it.
MATERIALS
The Corktown is built to last. Some things, however, that are built to last look really bad. You know, like rocks. Or black mold. This hat is not like rocks or black mold.
Exhibit A: The 100% pure Australian wool. Exhibit B: The fine nylon grosgrain band, with a subtle, badass man-bow (which is NOTHING like a man-bun). We could go on, believe us.
I really like my new fedora. I have a larger head and am a bigger guy with wide shoulders…I searched far and wide for a fedora with the specs that would work for me. I finally found that in my grey Corktown. The only issue I had was the brim, which was completely flat which is fine for the way young people are wearing them today. I though, was going for a 1940’s film noir look which requires a totally different brim treatment. I recently bought a stock, 1948, black, Chrysler Windsor that has suicide doors. I wanted to dress the part when showing it. After communicating what I wanted to do with your capable reps, they convinced me that I could shape the brim anyway I wanted by myself. They also told me the Corktown was the best way to go because the brim was more substantial and would hold the new brim shape better. They were right on both counts although it was a little daunting to begin with. I completed the task with a little hand held steam machine that my wife already had. I now wear the hat all the time and I get all kinds of compliments.
Thank you,
Robert D.

I am trying to contact you about a replacement.
I got the original order and the hat was too large. I got the replacement yesterday and it has flaws. I leave the hat, I need to return for one without these flaws. I sent an email and have not gotten a response.

Good fit, good style, quality needs work.
I love the style of this hat and the fit was perfect once I added the included hat sizers. The brim, though, arrived a bit more wavy than the style (and photos) call for and while I hoped it would flatten out once it was out of the box, it has not.
