DURANGO CORDUROY TRUCKER – SAGUARO
Description
The Official Dos Caminos Trucker Hat
DESCRIPTION
One of the most dangerous stretches of road on Earth reaches between the landlocked, desert city of Durango, Mexico, and the lush beach oasis of Mazatlan.
El Espinazo del Diablo (The Devil’s Backbone), is a serpentine, treacherous road that carves its way through hundreds of miles of mountains, along sheer faces and down steep embankments.
Simply put, it’s not for the faint of heart.
In 2013, regular accidents led the Mexican Government to construct an alternative route, and gave it a much more spiritless name — Highway 40D. Over a hundred bridges and 60+ tunnels make the passage much smoother, faster and safer.
It's also much less often written about, dreamed about or marveled at.
So, when leaving Durango, you’re given a choice — the easier way, ne’er to be remembered nor recounted…
Or El Camino Menos Transitado. The Road Less Traveled.
