What's this all about?
In the course of making and selling high-quality, stylish hats to high-quality, stylish individuals like you, we inevitably run into situations where a given hat doesn't pass our quality checks.
There are a number of reasons why this might be, which we'll go into in a bit — but needless to say, we don't feel comfortable selling it at full price.
What this does, however, is open up an opportunity for some of you to pick up some otherwise great hats for a steal.

Dent & Ding FAQ
Will I get the exact hat I see in the picture?
No, you won't. But you will get the same style. Since every Dent & Ding item is different, we don't post pictures of each one. Some are more impacted than others, but all are certainly wearable, and will still make a great impact.
Can I return a Dent & Ding hat?
No, all steeply discounted Dent & Ding products are Final Sale and are not eligible for return.
Do Dent & Ding products ship as quickly as your other products?
We do our best to ship ALL orders out as quickly as possible, and that's generally pretty damn fast. Dent & Ding orders, due to the steep discount, do ship at a lower priority than standard orders, so processing can take a few more days than usual.
Can I use a discount code on Dent & Ding products?
Due to the steep discount of these products, they are not included in other sale promotions.
How often do you add new products to the collection?
Pretty frequently. Our quality standards are pretty high, which means we're always coming across products that don't quite make it. We set these aside, and usually once or twice a week we'll add them into the Dent & Ding Collection.
Am I going to get a hat that's trashed?
Good question. It might be a little stressful to order, not knowing what you're going to get.
"Trashed" isn't a word we'd ever want customers to use to explain the product they receive.
We do have a minimum threshold of quality for Dent & Ding products. Sometimes, we'll end up with a hat that's too far gone — those products don't get included in our online sale.
At the same time, if a hat is good enough to sell at full price, we'll sell it at full price. So all of these hats will have some reason why they're here.
