+ HOW ARE HAT SIZES MEASURED?
Hats are measured by the inside circumference at the bottom of the hat's crown (the sweatband), and most often measured in centimeters. This is the case for all Two Roads styles including fedoras, gaucho hats and western hats in both felt and straw.
While most of our felt and straw hats are not adjustable, they all come with foam sizing tape. This tape can allow you to get a more custom fit, whether you're in between sizes or you're having a hard time getting the shape of the hat and the shape of your head to interface properly.
+ WHAT IS THE AVERAGE HAT SIZE FOR MEN?
This is a tricky question, as men's head sizes vary widely.
The most common size we sell is a size 59, or Large. That being said, most men have a pretty good idea of whether their head is pretty average, above average or below average — and to what degree either is true.
To learn how to measure your hat size, watch the video or follow the instructions below.
TIP: If you don't have a textile measuring tape, use a string or piece of yarn to measure the distance around your head. After you have marked the yarn around your head, lay it out flat on the ground or table + measure the straightened out piece of yarn with a measuring stick or regular measuring tape.
At the end of the day, if your hat fits properly, you'll wear it. If it doesn't, you won't. We want those hats fitting right and feeling good.
All Two Roads felt and straw hats come with foam sizing tape to help account for head variance, whether you're in between sizes or can't quite get your head shape and the hat to match up properly.
Hat sizing tape is an additional option for tightening the fit of your hat.
Without removing the adhesive backing, separate the two strips of foam and place them on the inside of your hat, behind the sweatband.
What if you've tried all of the above, and your hat still just doesn't fit quite right?
What if the hat fits right, but just doesn't make you feellike the powerful, good-looking being that you are?
