Description

The Porto Marie is made of handwoven bao straw. It's partially immersed to give it a two-toned color. The band is a distressed cotton strip of fabric, wrapped twice and tied in a simple bow, and there is an optional band of thin wooden beads sewn on. We like it that way, but you can certainly select the hat without.

Cool Summer Hat

The beads make this hat. The weave is perfect for hot Florida days although as mentioned the hat is lightweight and therefore naturally will blow off in a stiff wind.
