Let’s be clear — this isn’t a touristy beach town jam-packed with cheap, watered-down booze and frat bros on Spring Break.

No, here you’ll be much more likely to stumble into an inviting café, sip a delicious mocha mexicano on the patio, then pet a dog as its owner strolls by on their way to Chapultepec Park.

You might call it the anti-Cancún, and we think they’d be ok with that. Fine with what it is, not trying to be what it isn’t.

Our Condesa hat is a simple, easy-wearing palm hat. It’s not a western hat, not exactly a dress hat, and certainly not a cheap sombrero found behind racks of “3 for $20” t-shirts.
