DESCRIPTION
The Delmar is a stiff, mid-sized-brim hat with an upturned brim. Its crown is somewhat of a mix between a teardrop fedora and a cattleman's crown.
But it's the trim that we think makes this hat. With a distressed tonal thick grosgrain band, it gives the air that it's already seen some sh**. You'll get the impression that this hat is showing you the sights, not the other way around.
The brim also has one isolated strip of edge-wrapped grosgrain — a really cool little touch.

I recieved a lot of complimnets when i wore the hat. it was so comfortable i almost forgot i had it on.
Being a newbie to the hat game, I decided to step up and purchase this hat. I am glad I did! Excellent craftsmanship and not made on the cheap. I haven’t sported it in public yet but my wife gave her full and enthusiastic endorsement! I’m good!

I want to like two roads hat company, I really do. The styles of the hats are awesome. With that said, the inconsistent sizing, even with the same style hat is beyond frustrating.
I purchased the badlands rancher, black in 63, it fit good.
I purchased the Delmar in mulberry size 63, was way too big wobbly. I sized down to 61, fit decent. I waited almost a year, recently purchased the Delmar in brown. The Delmar in brown is way too small. Not only is the crown smaller but the hat is significantly smaller than the one I have in mulberry. Which is ridiculous. If a hat size says it's measurements, and you know your hat size, in measurements. That should be it. I will attatch pictures to further demonstrate the inconsistency of the sizing.
You can see how much lower the mulberry sits on my head, and the hats stacked on top of each other, the mulberry can fit the brown more inform, as opposed to vice versa. The brown being significantly smaller. Both size 61

Sounds like you took advantage of that. Nice. As for consistency of sizing, it can be a bit tough style to style and head to head, since different shapes fit different heads differently. That part is tough. But within a particular style — like you experienced within the two Delmar colors — should absolutely be more consistent. That's on us, and we're sorry about that. This hat was not ivory, it was a light pink. Had to exchange.
Hat is too stiff.

It's a tough nail to hit on the head, stiffness is, because it really becomes a matter of personal preference.
