DELMAR DISTRESSED FELT FEDORA
Description
The Delmar is a stiff, mid-sized-brim hat with an upturned brim. Its crown is somewhat of a mix between a teardrop fedora and a cattleman's crown.
But it's the trim that we think makes this hat. With a distressed tonal thick grosgrain band, it gives the air that it's already seen some sh**. You'll get the impression that this hat is showing you the sights, not the other way around.
The brim also has one isolated strip of edge-wrapped grosgrain — a really cool little touch.

I have ordered at least four hats from Two Roads so I decided I would order the Mulberry Delmar. My hat sat some where with the shipping label applied but not taken to USPS for two weeks. I emailed Two Roads four times because I could see as I tracked my order that the hat was not shipped. I emailed questioning why my hat had not been shipped but just sitting. It took a week before I received a reply but still with no reason why a shipping label was created but the hat was not shipped. I received the hat 16 days after I ordered. My neighbor brought it to me after it was delivered to the wrong address. I immediately opened it to find the hat was not according to sizing. Before ordering I measured my head, I also took Two Roads sizing questions which suggested a large. Too big!! I utilized the sizing tape and placed other measures inside the hat rim to make the hat fit properly. It was not Two Roads finest moments with me but the hat is a beautiful color, nice look but stiff as mentioned. I made it work because I did not want to ship it back to go through more issues.
This rating factors my overall experience with the company and my recent purchase, which admittedly may or may not fair/helpful.
First experience with Two Roads was terrible, I'm surprised I came back. On this recent purchase I ordered a Delmar hat in a size I customarily order (XL). However, the proportions were way off, the brim 1/2 inch larger than advertised and the general fit ran quite large. I went ahead and asked for an exchange (xl to L).
Now to the good! Aesthically the hat is fire, the exchange was smooth and received the new hat within a week (ish) of the initial return. Looking forward to wearing.

Hi Malinda, sorry to hear about this. I want to ask a couple questions, just so we know what we're looking at and how we can proceed. The Delmar is a distressed style, meaning it's designed to look used, worn in, etc. There is intentional fraying on the band and along the edge — this is how it is supposed to look. That being said, if the damage you're referring to is beyond this — if something perhaps happened to the hat in transit — then we for sure want to know about that and help you with a return. In fact, we'll still help you, even if the style just isn't for you. We do want to make sure you're happy with the hat.
