Description

As an open crown hat, the Salton has no creases, pinches or dents. It can be worn as is — round — or you can try your hand at shaping it yourself. Either way, the Australian wool is easy to clean and will hold up for years if it's treated right.

Note: The Salton is a bandless hat. Feel free to wear it without a band, or add your own flair to it. It's great hat to make your own.

Behind the Name

There can be beauty in isolation, in barrenness, and — yes — even in loss.

The Salton Sea in Southern California is dying. The lake no longer has a supply of fresh water, and it's slowly shrinking. Tourism, once a major draw to the area, is now nearly nonexistent.

And yet, it can be breathtakingly beautiful — albeit in a desolate kind of way.

I have a head like a globe

I have a 7 7/8 head that is shaped like a classroom globe. Finding hats to fit is often a problem. I really liked the look of the hat, so I threw caution to the wind and ordered it. It is an incredible hat. Fits perfect, and a perfect fit is a rarity for me. Thanks again
